Self-consumption Photovoltaic Facilities Aguas Porto Novo (APN)
Isla de Santo Antao, Cabo Verde
About the project
Aguas Porto Novo is a company dedicated to water management located on the island of Santo Antao in Cape Verde. To improve the supply of its facilities, Impulso Solar developed a self-consumption facility for its IDAM. The IDAM produces around 600 m³ / day of drinking water that is supplied to the population of Porto Novo.
The installation is carried out on the Aguas Porto Novo plot and will reduce the plant’s energy consumption by approximately 10%.
What does this generation represent?
24,3 Tons of CO2 that this plant has prevented from being emitted.
974 trees would be needed to absorb the CO2 that would have been generated with conventional sources.
170.215 are the kilometers that a car should travel to emit the CO2 that the facilities are saving.
