UPIC is an institution aimed at improving the territory and strengthening the Catalan business fabric, by creating optimal conditions for companies to grow in competitiveness, in an innovative and sustainable entourage, aligned with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and the Catalunya 2030/40 program from the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the Catalan chambers.
Within its 2021-2025 Strategic Plan, Impulso wishes to position itself as a company specializing in the development and implementation of solutions in solar photovoltaic projects, as well as the management of electric and sustainable mobility, and water management in industrial areas, in addition to contribute its expertise in the development of renewable energy and the water management of the future.
This agreement must allow for a bigger corporate and regional positioning and leadership, thanks to the vertebration of the UPIC in the region, and also to their participation in the revitalization and improvement projects in the Economic Activity Industrial Parks, both at national and international levels.
Xavier Suñer, President of the UPIC, emphasized the importance of the incorporation of Impulso Energia, to contribute to the energetic transition and to provide all their experience in that field, from all the companies included in the business holding.
Norberto Larriba, CEO of Impulso, highlighted that this is an important business and strategic opportunity for the company, that contributes the know-how acquired in Cape Verde and Chile in the industrial field, and especially to enlarge market share in the Catalan region.
