One of the main features of the photovoltaic technology is its modular versatility, which allows from the commissioning of large on-ground photovoltaic plants, focused on power generation for injection into the network, to facilities for industry self-consumption.

Photovoltaic energy is ready to play an important role in the future mix of global energy generation as a sustainable, cheap, modular and local production mode. Current SPV facilities have a service life of about 30 years.

IMPULSO’s activity, through its solar division, is based on two types of actions:

Solar parks as a particular model of investment, focused on the generation and the channeling into distribution networks, and that allow the increase of renewable contribution in regions with energy deficits, thus promoting sustainable development.

The size of our plants is within the smaller segment of utility scale plants (=< 5 MW), which allows us to speed up administrative processes and the commissioning of facilities, as well as to shorten the payback periods of the initial investment. We currently develop energy projects that incorporate microgrids and smart grids associated with renewable generation. Our activities range from the identification of potential settings for projects, promotion and development, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operation and maintenance. IMPULSO currently has operative plants in Europa, Africa and Latin America.

We also transfer our technological know-how and solution development to any scale through a spin-off designed for this purpose, which carries out projects of photovoltaic solar facilities for third parties:

- Customized solutions for the industrial sector.

- Customized solutions for the residential sector.

End-customer power supply contracts (PPA-power purchase agreement).

Renewable energies

Renewable energies are investments with short-term returns that allow to move towards a new energy model, based on the priority use of clean resources.

Their use has an increasing impact on the competitiveness and, also, helps countries advance towards the international climate commitments.

In June 2019, the European Union established its own 2030 Renewable Energy Targets, setting a 32% penetration target that will be applicable to all Eurozone countries. Likewise, European bodies have established the right of citizens, local authorities, small and medium-sized businesses, and cooperatives, to produce, consume, store and sell their own renewable energy, without being subject to taxes, which brings confidence and security to all users.

Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional

Impulso SAGE has benefited from the European Regional Development Fund, which aims to promote technological development and innovation. Thanks to this funding, we have been able to add innovation to our processes, strategies, and advice for a digital marketing plan, and to promote ourselves internationally for the development of energy and water management projects. This action took place during 2021. To carry it out, we also had the support of the InnoCámaras program, from the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.

ICEX NEXT

LENTE INGENIEROS, within the framework of the ICEX Next program, has had the support of ICEX, and the co-financing of the European ERDF fund. This support aims to contribute to the international development of the company and its environment.
